Robert Scott Retires

Robert Scott Retires

February 1, 2016

Robert Scott recently retired after 30 years of service with GUC. Robert began his career in 1986 as an Electric Shop Technician. Since 1996, he's been a Substation Lineworker. He worked on the Substation Construction/Maintenance Crew responsible for the structural work when a substation is being built or modified. Robert did everything from erecting steel beams to installing foundations, underground facilities, buswork, transformers, and other equipment. He also maintained the mechanical and large electrical components of the equipment at our substations.

"GUC has been a great place to work," Robert said during his retirement lunch. "I've enjoyed working here and will really miss everyone."

Robert and his wife, Teresa, enjoy spending time with their son, Jeremy, along with Jeremy's wife and daughter. In retirement, Robert plans to enjoy more time with his family, working in his yard, and grilling out.

Congratulations on your retirement, Robert!
