We live in an era when many of us have communication tools at our fingertips all the time and we expect to find news and information faster than ever before. We also expect to view that information in a variety of ways and in our own time - whether it's reading a printed newspaper during a lunch break, or browsing the news headlines in the middle of watching a football game.

Earlier this year, our Public Information Office sent out a Spotlight survey, and some of the questions asked how you prefer to receive news and information, not just from GUC but from your favorite news sources. They took your feedback and created another option for employees and retirees to view Spotlight stories, and more, called the Spotlight Newsfeed.

So this month, for the first time in GUC history, not only can you read this Manager's Corner as a PDF on your computer or as a printed newsletter from your mailbox, but you can also see it online at Spotlight.guc.com and watch the video version or read the digital piece on your mobile device. In fact, many of the articles in the printed Spotlight will have additional photos or videos available only in the newsfeed, available before Spotlight is even printed.
