Once again, GUC employees were busy in March sharing information at career fairs and events in the communities we serve. Take a look at where we were:

ECU Career Fair

Alan Cummings and Charles Buck (Gas) shared GUC career information with ECU students during their Career Fair on March 1st at the Convention Center.

Wellcome Middle

Freddie Martin and Robbie Manning (Gas) were on hand at Wellcome Middle School's Career Fair that was STEM and Engineering focused on March 1st.

NC Central Career Fair

Angie Fuller and Kay Spriggs (HR) visited North Carolina Central University in Durham for their Career Fair on March 2nd.

A Time For Science Expo

Many GUC employees were present at the A Time For Science Expo on March 11th. Brooke Norton and Stormi Wilson from the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Kevin Hardee and Crystal Respess from the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and Brian Murphy and Tyler Nichols from Electric shared science-based activities with kids of all ages.

Farmville Middle

Bradley Burroughs and Jeff Oakley from Electric shared information during Farmville Middle School's Career Day on March 15th.

H.B. Sugg Science Day

Many hands were on deck at H.B. Sugg's Science Day on March 17th in Farmville. Crystal Respress (WWTP); William Morning, Chris Rouse, and Paul Bunch (Gas); and Ryan Van Scoy and Tyler Nichols (Electric) shared STEM-focused information to 5th graders.

Ridgewood Elementary Truck Day

Water Resources employees Danny Lane and Derek Averill demonstrated the vacuum truck to more than 700 students at the Ridgewood Elementary Truck Day in Winterville on March 22nd.

University of Mount Olive

Angie Fuller (HR) and Mashan Arthur (Finance) visited the University of Mount Olive for their Career Fair on March 22nd.

Veteran's Career Fair

Jeff Clemons (Water Resources), Kathy Pate (Electric), and Lena Previll (HR) shared information about GUC careers at the Veteran's Career Fair on March 23rd.

Linda Hinton (Electric) and Kay Spriggs (HR) took a road trip to Fayetteville State University to share information at their Career Fair on March 29th.

Tom Culver (Electric) traveled to Ayden-Grifton High School to share information about GUC careers on March 29th.
