National Night Out

Greenville Utilities was one of the many companies who participated in the National Night Out Street Food Festival. Bucket trucks along with the new Power Bike were set up for people of all ages to enjoy. Thank you to David Guy, Brantley Lawrence, Jordan Hill, and Zack Kruger (Electric) for setting up and running the bucket trucks. Thank you also to Jonathan Sergeant and Seth Shoneman (Energy Services), as well as Steve Hawley, Linda Clark, and Emily Garner (Public Information) for helping out during the event.

ECU Merchant Fair

GUC went back to school on August 30th — at ECU! We joined with other community businesses and organizations to share information for students, faculty, and staff at the Chamber's "Get a Clue" Merchant Fair. Huge thanks goes out to Simon Stroud (Garage), Jonathan Sergeant and Seth Shoneman (Energy Services), Kendra Nettles (Water Treatment Plant), Robby Bright, Freddie Martin, Charles Buck, Eric Phillips, and Ron Cullipher (Gas), and Anna Hinton (Public Information) for making our booth a success.

Vidant Seniors

On August 3rd, Energy Services Officer Jonathan Sergeant shared energy conservation tips with a Vidant Wellness Center senior citizens group.
