Wayne Hardee has retired after 32 years with Greenville Utilities. "It's been a great pleasure to work here," said Wayne. "It seems like I just started. GUC has great people and I'm going to miss everyone." Wayne also shared that he appreciated the emphasis GUC puts on safety, and during his retirement luncheon he encouraged everyone to watch out for each other and always be safe.

He and his wife, Katherine, have three children — Chase, Dillon, and Laural. In retirement, Wayne plans to take up commercial fishing and work in his garden.

Wayne, we wish you the very best in retirement!
