What Has Lighthouse Done For GUC Lately?

What Has Lighthouse Done For GUC Lately?

October 31, 2021

Identifying and removing barriers to working safely is one of the key components of the Lighthouse process. When things are discovered during an observation that could reduce exposures, Lighthouse works to determine a course of action that could remove that barrier and, coordinates “making it happen” so that our employees can avoid injuries.

Since Lighthouse began in 2013, 17 barriers have been removed. Below is a list of them, so whenever you see the Lighthouse sticker, you know it represents a removed barrier! You can also see videos for most of these online at spotlight.guc.com/safety.
