Tom Mayo / 25 Years
Tom Mayo, IT Systems Analyst IV, celebrates 25 years at Greenville Utilities. He joined GUC in 1998 as a Help Desk Specialist in the IT Department before moving up to his current role, a job that has evolved over the years along with technology. Tom is mostly responsible for managing the application programs for our Human Resources and Finance Departments. He fixes program errors involving timecards, the hiring process, and even the information flow that occurs between applications across GUC. He also is part of IT’s Business Intelligence (BI) team and ensures that data reporting and analytics for many of GUC’s applications and systems are running smoothly. “Here at GUC, I enjoy helping and learning about the people I work with every day,” he said.

Accomplishments

Congratulations to IT Support Specialist Taylor Miller on her graduation from East Carolina University (ECU). Taylor earned her degree in Information Computer Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity.

Congratulations also to Isaiah Bradshaw, IT Support Specialist Intern, on earning his degree in Information Computer Technology with a concentration in Network Management from ECU.
