Mike McGowan / 20 Years
Underground Electric Crew Leader Mike McGowan is celebrating 20 years of service with GUC. Mike leads a team of five who work on big construction jobs such as manholes and electrical switch gears. The team handles the installation and maintenance of both underground and overhead electric lines and transformers for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. They also use line and bucket trucks to set up poles and respond to trouble calls. “Great group of guys and a great company to work for,” said Mike.

Our condolences to the family of retiree James Edwards who recently passed away. Mr. Edwards retired from the Electric Department as Meter Supervisor in 2008.
