Cashier II
July 31, 2024

Mandy Joyner, Cashier II, has been with GUC for two years. Cashiers are part of the Collections section of the Finance Department. This section is responsible for the receipt and deposit of GUC funds, ensuring that all money paid to GUC is properly handled and balanced at the end of each day. An extra responsibility for Mandy is accounts payable, where she assists with going through invoices and emailing them to the various sections of Finance. She also assists in training new Cashiers. Mandy joined the team with a background in retail management and holds a bachelor's degree from ECU in Apparel Merchandising and a Minor in Business.

FUN FACT! Growing up in the Outer Banks, Mandy has lived through her fair share of hurricanes and storms, many of which she volunteered on post-storm cleanup with her church. In fact, she has been in the eyes of two storms (that she can recall).
