International Teachers Reception 
On July 22nd, GUC helped welcome 20 teachers from around the world who have moved to Pitt County to teach a variety of subjects for three to five years with Pitt County Schools (PCS). This program is a partnership between PCS and Pitt County Educational Foundation. Thank you to Erin Walton and Emily Garner with the Public Information Office for representing GUC at this event. 

Community Career Fair 
Cortney Bazemore and Lena Previll with Human Resources represented Greenville Utilities on Saturday, August 24th at a community career fair at Eppes Recreational Center. This was the fourth annual career event hosted by The Daily Drum.   

ECU Kid’s Zone 
As part of our “Powering the Pirates” partnership with ECU Athletics, GUC is a sponsor of the Kids Zone at ECU home football games. The Kids Zone is an area inside the stadium, close to Gate 2, where children can play various games. Public Information staffs a table in the Zone, handing out GUC-branded giveaways and talking with people about our organization. Thank you to Deanna Castellow with Water Resources for representing us during the August 31st game. Be sure to stop by our table in the Kids' Zone as the season continues!
