On March 6th, Emily Garner and Melinda Sampson (Pub Info) spent the afternoon at ECU’s School of Communication Career Fair to share information about GUC opportunities with communication students.

Jessica Hardy and Tanya Brown (Finance) represented GUC at the ECU College of Business Networking event on March 27th. This event helps students and businesses connect and build relationships.
Tradesformers Interest Meetings
Employees with Human Resources, Water Resources, and Electric met with local high school students during the month of March to share information about the Tradesformers program that GUC participates in each year. Tradesformers is a youth apprenticeship program designed to connect high school students with growing industry trades in our area. Students who join this program gain on-the-job training and related classroom instruction while also earning a base pay rate and learning valuable skills to advance in their field of interest.
