The 2025 iLead session kicked off with 14 employees in the newest cohort.
“Last year’s group set the bar high with their commitment and collaboration. This year’s group seems equally dynamic, and I’m really excited to see how things unfold as they begin spending more time together,” said Carrie Peed, Organizational Development and Training Manager.
Joe Metz, IT Support Specialist II, and Maria Johnson, Senior Financial Planning and Rates Analyst, are members of the 2025-26 iLead class and are both excited to work with people from across GUC departments.
“I embrace the opportunity to learn something new and to build relationships with people working in other areas and with different expertise. It’s a good way to get to know people and be a part of the GUC community,” Maria said.
“I am a social person, and I look forward to bridging those gaps. I am always willing to learn more and listen to other people with different experiences,” Joe said.
The iLead participants will take a series of assessments to gauge how they communicate, lead, and work within a team.
Those assessments include Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Management DiSC (CLS), Working Genius, Listening Style, Time Style, Clifton Strengths, and Communication Styles.
