
The annual Health and Wellness Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, August 6th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Operations Center.
"The Health and Wellness Fair brings together resources to help employees with different aspects of their lives,” said Stella Harris, HR intern, who is working on the coordination of the event.
The Health and Wellness Fair will feature over 20 vendors from eight core aspects of overall wellness. They include physical, nutritional, environmental, educational, emotional/mental, body recovery, medical, and financial. HR will be providing a punch card to participants to enter to win a door prize.

Physical:
Downtown Barre
Downtown Barre offers fitness classes for many levels. Those classes include barre, indoor cycle, and infrared heated yoga and barre studio. They will be sharing information about the studio and offering giveaways.
Fleet Feet
Fleet Feet specializes in footwear fit by using a 3D scanner and pressure plate system to match your foot to the shoe for you. They will be bringing their 3D scanner for employees to find their perfect fit.
Nutritional
Green Health First
Green Health First specializes in safe, natural health and wellness products. During the Wellness Fair they will offer samples of green teas and essential oil products.
Nutrition Plus
Nutrition Plus provides professional nutrition services devoted to health and wellness with a commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction, utilizing appropriate resources, with coordination across the continuum of care. They will be offering promotional materials and an opportunity to schedule a nutrition counseling session.
Environmental
FROGGS
Friends of Greenville Greenways (FROGGS) is a nonprofit located in Greenville. They work closely with the City of Greenville and other organizations to care for, expand, improve, beautify, and generally advocate for our community’s system of greenways: multi-use paths that collectively form a system of linear parks. They will be offering informational handouts and stickers.
Emotional/Mental
Pitt County Health Department
The Pitt County Health Department offers a wide array of health services. To learn more, visit pittcountync.gov. They will have information related to Triple P Parenting, along with an assortment of pens, pencils, chip clips, and hand sanitizer.
City of Greenville Parks and Recreation

S&S Parenting Services
S&S teaches parents how to implement the Triple P parenting system. They also offer co-parenting classes for parents who are going through a separation, divorce, or no longer in a relationship. They will bring pamphlets, cards, and handouts.
Wiko Innovative Solutions
Wiko Innovative Solutions enhances organizations by delivering effective solutions that positively influence motivation, morale, satisfaction, and self-efficacy. They will be offering stress balls, checklists, and journals.
Body Recovery
Stretch Zone
Stretch Zone has certified practitioners who specialize in dynamic stretches that improve mobility, muscle function, and active range of motion. They will be bringing a table for stretches during the fair.
Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness
Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness offers a full circle of care providing services in the outpatient setting, schools, homes, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, industrial sites, and other settings for all ages from zero to over 100 years of age. Two massage therapists will be on hand the day of the fair.
Medical
Ross Orthodontics
Located in Greenville, Dr. Dennis P. Ross is committed to providing the highest quality orthodontic care, using advanced technology, to patients of all ages. They will have information on orthodontics and have a giveaway.
Lung Cancer Initiative
Lung Cancer Initiative’s mission is to advance survivorship and provide support to
those affected by lung cancer through research, education, and access programs. They will be offering educational materials and resources focused on lung cancer prevention and awareness.
Honorbridge
Honorbridge’s mission is building connections that save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation. They will be registering those who are ready to make that decision. They will also offer resources and swag for all who visit the table.
Gentivia Hospice
Gentivia Hospice provides palliative, hospice, and home health care, along with assistance with advanced illness management.
GUC Clinic
Our clinic will be providing biometric screenings.
Cancer Services of ENC
Cancer Services of ENC are a network of dedicated volunteers and professionals who are committed to lightening the burden of a cancer diagnosis for a patient, family, or caregiver.
Financial
Southern Bank
Southern Bank provides our customers with financial products and other banking services.
GUCO Credit Union
The GUCO Credit Union will be there offering information about the services that are provided to GUC employees.

Cigna will be providing resources and information about medical plans. They will have a giveaway.
