At the August Board meeting, Commissioners voted to lift the restriction on the number of panels that customers may subscribe to at the Community Solar Farm. They also opened up subscriptions to commercial and industrial customers. Previously, only residential Electric customers could take part in this project.
Commissioners also approved amending the budget for the project to replace the aging HVAC system for the top two floors at the Main Office. The system is original to the building. Work is expected to take place beginning late this year or early next year. City Council needs to approve the budget amendment at its September 8 meeting.
