The end of the year has brought about the end of an era here at GUC. Two eras, really.
Both our Gas and Electric Directors have retired, but their legacy of exceptionalism and dedication will live on.
Anthony Miller, former Gas Systems Director, dedicated 37 years to Greenville Utilities. John Worrell, former Electric Systems Director, dedicated 38 years of service to GUC.
The two of them have contributed so much to GUC. We appreciate them and celebrate their service. Anthony and John’s commitment to GUC will not be forgotten. We wish them the best in retirement. As we start the new year with new Directors, we’re looking forward to what the future holds.
GUC is full of exceptional people who help fulfill our mission every day of the year. I want to thank each and every one of you for all you have done this year. It has been challenging at times, but you have risen to the challenges. There is plenty of work scheduled for 2026. I am sure you will rise to those challenges as well.
