Our condolences are extended to Brandon Vernelson, Meter Field Tech III, on the passing of his mother, Sherry Francis Vernelson. Mrs. Vernelson was also the mother-in-law to Charlie May, Electric Substation Inventory & Parts Coordinator.

Mr. May called in to compliment the work of Robert Mooring, Line Clearing Coordinator, and Tree Trimmers Bradley Hardee, Jordan Clymer, Chandler Wynne, and Will Waggoner. He stated that he was appreciative of how quickly GUC responded. He also expressed how impressed he was with the crew’s professionalism and how clean they left his yard. Mr. May said, his yard “was so clean he could eat off it,” and that he was “overjoyed with the work that was completed and wished he could reward the crew in some way.”   

Mr. Floyd emailed to compliment WWTP Facility Manager Jason Manning and his staff on how professional and skilled they were with the plant tour that he took recently.  

Mr. Marshen, contractor with Marshen properties, called in to compliment the work of Gas Service Specialists Adam Wilson and Carlos Crespo for providing excellent customer service while investigating a gas leak. He expressed how grateful he was for their expertise and their excellent customer service. Mr. Marshen said they were “very helpful, knowledgeable, and awesome in helping him solve the problem.”  

Mr. Anthony left a card complimenting Customer Contact Representative Danesha Williams for being “very professional and very helpful.” 

Mr. Lawrence called in to compliment Gas Service Specialist Adam Wilson for providing excellent customer service while connecting gas at his home. He stated that Adam was “very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.” Mr. Lawrence also emphasized how Adam went “above and beyond” his expectations by also educating him about natural gas. 

Mrs. Parker called in to compliment Cashier Demetrius Holloway for providing her with excellent customer service while in the drive-thru to pay her bill. She stated that Demetrius was a “God send” for coming out to the drive-thru to grab her check since she had trouble with opening the canister. Mrs. Parker also emphasized how she felt he “went the extra mile for her” and that “it made her day.”
