Archie Biggs, Gas Service Worker Senior, (pictured above receiving his retirement plaque from Anthony Miller, Director of Gas Systems) recently retired after 38 years of service with Greenville Utilities. Archie performed natural gas leak surveys, new service cut-ons, and was part of the crew that responds to gas leaks either inside or around a customer's home or business. "I enjoyed it here and I wish the best for everyone," Archie said during his retirement lunch.

He and his wife, Wanda, have two children, James Jr. and Ricky Lee, as well as one granddaughter, Cheyenne (10), and two grandsons, Jamison Michael (5) and Ricky (9 months). In retirement, Archie plans to enjoy more fishing and hunting, and taking his grandchildren along with him.
