Keith Fisher in 2014.
Keith Fisher, Water Resources Operations/Maintenance Systems Supervisor, has retired after 33 years of service with Greenville Utilities.
Keith joined Greenville Utilities as a Machine Operator in 1994 and worked his way to a supervisory role via Pipe Layer, Systems Maintenance Crew Leader, and Construction Pipe Crew Leader. He had served as Systems Supervisor since 2018.
In his last role as supervisor, Keith was responsible for five crews whose jobs range from construction to troubleshooting service work. The construction crews are primarily responsible for installing water/sewer services off our existing mains and repairing any water/sewer leaks, while the service crews focus on repairing small water service leaks and clearing sewer blockages that occur on service lines.
Keith always said that he enjoyed the variety of jobs that they do, plus working with customers, and it showed. “I liked being able to help our customers with any problems that arose,” he said.
He and his wife, Christy, have two daughters, Katie and Claire, and son, Chris.
Keith, we wish you very best in retirement!
