The Board approved a cost participation agreement to provide sewer service to Luke’s Landing, a subdivision on Highway 33 East, between Simpson and Grimesland. The City Council approved annexing the land back in 2018. GUC and Bill Clark Homes will share costs to:
- Build a pump station to tie into the main that extends to Grimesland.
- Upsize a stretch of piping and extend piping along the right-of-way.
- Make sanitary sewer available to over 400 acres of adjacent properties for future development.
GUC’s total estimated cost participation is roughly $1.1M.
