Fun for All at First Outdoor Movie Night
Fun for All at First Outdoor Movie Night
The weather could not have cooperated better for GUC’s first Family Fun & Outdoor Movie Night on Saturday, October 6th, when employees and their families gathered for more than just a movie under the stars.
The fun began before sunset, with kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, beach volleyball, cornhole, and other yard and beach games at the East Carolina University North Recreational Complex. Kona Ice and 3 Kings food trucks were on hand to keep everyone well-fed and hydrated. To top off the fun, we played Disney’s Toy Story on a big screen just after sunset.
“We could not have asked for a better first movie night for our employees,” said Richie Shreves, Director of Human Resources. “The location was perfect for what we wanted, which was to offer a variety of outdoor activities leading up to the movie showing. We had a good turnout, and everyone had a great time.”
