Jackie Hardy, Water Treatment Plant Staff Support Specialist III, recently retired after 26 years with Greenville Utilities. Jackie provided invaluable support to the entire Plant, responsible for day-to-day activities like assisting staff and crews with various documents, organizing plant tours and activities, creating an efficient filing system still used today, and much more.

“I consider everyone family here,” she said. “After 26 years, I still remember the excitement I felt being offered this job in 1992. I was so honored to be rewarded this opportunity then, and I still feel the exact same excitement now. I’ve learned so much while working at Greenville Utilities. I wish success for the entire organization.” 

In retirement, Jackie plans on spending time with her husband, Danny, and their family. They have one Daughter Dana, son-in-law, Kensil, step-grandson, John, and a new 10-week-old grandson, Colton. Jackie and Danny plan on spending their days spoiling their first grandchild together.
