Playing it safe at home is just as important as when you’re at work! Here are some tips for you to keep in mind when you’re working in your yard:
- When you’re mowing the lawn, wear protective glasses, gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
- Before you mow, clear area of debris – it can be hurled at over 200 mph at a person or your property.
- Check your blades before you begin mowing and replace worn blades.
- Never mow wet, slippery grass.
- Kids and lawn mowers don’t mix. Be sure to have children and pets in another part of the yard, or inside.
