Recap on Training in 2023 & What’s New for 2024
The goal of training at GUC is to build a growth mindset and focus on continuous learning and development. Training prepares us to overcome obstacles, enhance and expand skills, be intentional in our relationships, and stay grounded when our only constant is change. Here is a recap of the training we offered in 2023 and some of what’s to come in the new year.
Our Leadership Development Training initiative that kicked off at the beginning of 2022 continued throughout 2023. This is one of the largest investments GUC has made in training and developing its employees. Classes are available for all levels of leaders, along with two classes available to those not in leadership but would like to learn how to lead from where they are. There will also be additional elective classes available as the program continues.
Number of employees enrolled in Leadership Development Trainings this year:
- Building Leaders (46 in Advanced & Fundamentals of Leadership)
- Taking Charge (235 in Leading for Team Members)
- Situational Coaching (123 in Advanced & Fundamentals of Leadership)
iLead Program - graduated its fifth class of nine employees.
iLead Alumni Event – 50 employees took The Third Option training that offers a different take on diversity conversations by focusing on our similarities.
