Featured Employee Robin Walston, Water Resources Construction Inspector

Water Resources Construction Inspector Robin Walston joined GUC 11 years ago as an Equipment Operator IV before later joining the team of two other Construction Inspectors. Robin and the others inspect Water Resources infrastructure projects that involve outside contractors. They ensure that all extensions to GUC’s water and sewer systems are being constructed according to contract specifications and GUC standards. They visit job sites while the projects are in progress to coordinate connections to the existing GUC systems and also provide inspection throughout the installation of new facilities. Following installations, they monitor systems pressure testing. For water system extensions, they coordinate disinfection and bacteriological testing for water quality assurance. Before joining GUC, Robin owned a grading and landscaping business.

FUN FACT!  Robin is responsible for preparing the track for the Pinetops 300’ Tractor and Truck Pull each year.
