Kevin Hardee / 25 Years
Wastewater Treatment Plant Chemist II Kevin Hardee has celebrated 25 years with GUC. The Plant’s laboratory uses state-of-the art equipment to analyze and test samples collected from key locations in and around the Plant. The lab monitors the quality of wastewater entering the plant, the health of beneficial bacteria within the treatment process, and the quality of treated water that is returned to the river. Kevin’s responsibilities include collecting wastewater samples from various stages of the treatment process and analyzing them in the laboratory using certified methods. The data generated from his testing is then reported on the discharge monitoring report and used by operations staff to optimize the Plant’s performance. “The people I work with are wonderful,” said Kevin. “GUC is my second home and I’m thankful for my years here.”
