Fan Donation Tradition Continues
Greenville Utilities helped provide relief from the heat for local residents by purchasing 100 fans for those in need. For more than 25 years, GUC has provided fans to be distributed to the elderly, handicapped, and qualifying families with small children.    

GUC Energy Services employees delivered fans to the Pitt County Council on Aging and the Greenville Housing Authority on June 26th. The fans will be available for distribution to the public through all three of those agencies.

GenCyber Teacher Summer Camp
On June 20th, Andy Anderson (IT) presented to high school teachers about protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats. The teachers were part of a week-long camp designed to equip them with cybersecurity knowledge and skills they can deliver to their students. The camp focused on cybersecurity threats and attacks, and teachers were provided with resources to help them design appropriate cybersecurity curricula to integrate in their own classrooms..
