During the July 18th Board of Commissioners meeting, Justin Fuller was introduced as the newest GUC Commissioner. He is a Formulation Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific and has lived in Greenville the past 12 years. 

The Commissioners then elected Lindsey Griffin, Mark Garner, and Ferrell Blount as their officers for 2024-25. 

Mr. Griffin, a retired construction executive, was elected Chair. He has served on the Board since 2019. 

Mr. Garner, a retired planning and engineering consultant, was elected Chair-Elect. He has served on the Board since 2023. 

Mr. Blount, President of Blount Petroleum Corporation, was re-elected Secretary. He has served on the Board since 2021. 

Greenville Utilities is owned and operated by the citizens of Greenville and is governed by an eight-member Board of Commissioners responsible for approving rates, development plans, the annual budget, and setting policy. Board members serve three-year terms, with a maximum of two terms.
