Liz Brown Retires
Liz Brown, Customer Relations Support Analyst II, has retired after 31 years of service with GUC. Liz was part of the team that generates approximately 85,000 bills each month. They also assist with investigating bill inquiries and overall quality control and troubleshooting of customer billing. They work closely with other departments as part of quality control, most especially the Meter Section and Customer Service.
In addition, Liz handled special invoices for Finance. For instance, if someone had a vehicle accident and damaged a GUC electric pole, Liz would generate the invoice for the damage. She also worked on large industrial and medium service coincident peak billing.
Liz lives in Greenville and has two adult daughters Michaela (who now lives in Maryland) and Cydra, along with 16-year-old son Zachary. “They are all the joy of my life, and we stay busy,” she said. “I look forward to having more time in retirement to visit my daughter in Maryland.” She says she also plans to enjoy more family time overall. They enjoy cooking, watching TV, and playing video games together.
