Fan Donation 
On June 25th, Director of Customer Relations Scott Mullis and Energy Services Officer Jonathan Sergeant delivered 100 box fans to the Greenville Housing Authority, Pitt County Council on Aging, and Pitt County Department of Social Services to help residents to beat the heat during the summer months. For more than 25 years, GUC has provided fans to be distributed to the elderly, handicapped, and qualifying families with small children. To date, GUC has donated approximately 2,800 fans to needy families in our area.  

Chamber Leadership 
Ron Cullipher, Gas Technical Support Assistant, and JoEllen Gay, Wastewater Treatment Plant Environmental Compliance Coordinator, recently graduated from the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute. Over the course of eight months, they learned about issues facing our community, developed skills needed to enhance leadership strengths, and learned how to become involved in leadership roles in our community. JoEllen is pictured far left middle row, and Ron is third from left front row.
