It's our job to provide customers with safe, reliable utility service. Getting that service restored safely and quickly takes top priority during emergencies, and being well prepared is key to making that happen.

June marked the start of another hurricane season, and I know that we are prepared to handle whatever Mother Nature throws our way. Many times over, you have demonstrated under less than desirable circumstances that you will go the extra mile to restore service to our customers and keep our systems running safely. You have a reputation for your unwavering commitment to quality service. We demonstrate it by training and preparing ourselves for the worst situations as we carry out our daily work.

I encourage you to also stay on top of your family emergency plan. We are continually updating our Storm Central page on guc.com, and posting additional preparation tips on our social media sites, so be sure to check those out periodically.
