Louisa Chan Celebrates 20 Years

Senior Financial Planning and Rates Analyst Louisa Chan has celebrated 20 years with GUC. She is responsible for the long-term rate modeling and financial forecasting. Louisa's job involves a lot of moving parts that include long-range financial plans, capital project funding plans, rates and cost of service studies, and budget support. Her work helps the Management Team make decisions on project planning, prioritizing, and budgeting. Louisa enjoys the people that she works with along with the challenges of her job. "I love everyone in the Finance department," she said. "I also like challenges and my job is very complex, so when I finish something I feel really accomplished." Originally from Hong Kong, Louisa moved to the states in 1977 and came to Greenville in the early 1980's. She is very family-oriented and enjoys spending her free time with them (three sisters in California, one sister in Greenville, and two brothers in Seattle). Louisa also likes to travel back to Hong Kong and other surrounding areas. She likes to do and see things that remind her of her own culture and believes it is important for her and her family to stay in touch with their heritage.
