Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) employees provided a spooky and spectacular educational experience for kids of all ages during a special set of "Trick or Treatment" tours on October 26th.

"I think it's safe to say that our visitors had a 'frightfully' good time," said Jo Ellen Gay, Environmental Compliance Coordinator. "This was our second year, so we built upon last year with even more creativity, and had more than triple the number of visitors sign up."

The event included a full tour of the WWTP along with interactive scientific lessons for children, such as visits to the "Mad Scientist's Lab" where they learned about microorganisms used to treat wastewater.
