Congratulations to our Human Resources Department on receiving the STEM Career Outreach Program Award from the International Public Management Association for Human Resources in North Carolina (NC- IPMA-HR)! GUC’s HR Department was recognized for its focus on educating schools and colleges about the diverse set of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers that we have at GUC. HR Manager Lena Previll, HR Specialist Kay Spriggs, and HR Specialist Angie Fuller were presented with the award during the NC-IPMA-HR Annual Conference in March.

IPMA-HR is the professional association for public sector human resources professionals. They provide professional human resource management leadership, education, information, and representation services to facilitate the advancement of organizational objectives and quality of service in the public sector.
