Exciting Progress on ADP Project

As announced in February, a new user-friendly tool that allows employees to access their payroll and benefits information will be available later this year (see timeline below). To provide added value and functionality to employees, EBS and other benefits and payroll tools will move to the background, while a new system – ADP Workforce Now® - will become the frontline, all-in-one system.

Recent Developments & Milestones
The latest updates on the ADP project reveal significant strides for the project team. In February, the team began training and meticulously reviewing our time policies within the new timekeeping module, Workforce Manager. By mid-March, they successfully downloaded and validated information from EBS.

March 14th marked the completion of the onboarding module, a significant milestone. “We are now eagerly awaiting the data upload completion in order to conduct a comprehensive test walkthrough, examining the onboard process from the perspectives of new hires, internal GUC view, and checklist assignments and completion,” said IT Project Coordinator Elizabeth Sharp.

The team maintained their momentum into late March, continuing their collaboration with ADP on a Payroll & HR Analysis Summary and initiating the collection of essential data that will be used for the historical data upload post go-live. This, along with ADP also agreeing to a phased approach for data upload, demonstrates the project team's commitment to a seamless and efficient transition.

Looking Ahead
“As we move forward, the team remains committed to a smooth transition to ADP for employees,” said Elizabeth. “Training is extremely important. As you can see in the timeline, the project team training will occur ahead of all employee training to ensure we have subject matter experts to assist with a smooth go-live and transition.”

The transition to ADP Workforce Now® will bring a handful of different tools and vendors under one umbrella, with one password. All of the various logins and systems we use for tasks such as time entry, pay stub views, performance reviews, and benefits management will be grouped under the new system.

ADP will also bring us our first pay and benefits mobile app, so we can have access to our self-service portal on the go, on our own mobile devices. The ADP mobile app has a 4.7 out of 5-star rating in the Apple App Store and consistently ranks among the top downloaded apps. In the coming months, we’ll continue to share some of the features in the app that we can all get excited about, starting with ADP Learning Management.

New Feature - Learning on the Go
For five years, GUC employees have had access to thousands of training courses via LinkedIn Learning.  While this has been a great tool that many have

benefited from and enjoyed, it will be replaced with the more powerful and user-friendly ADP Learning Management.

“On March 15th, our LinkedIn Learning subscription ended,” said Organizational Development and Training Manager Carrie Peed. “The exciting news is that later this year, we will have ADP's online training replacement that I’m confident we’ll all enjoy even more! I’m excited about Learning Management because more than 10,000 top-of-the-line training content options will be at our fingertips. ADP gathers top training content from other platforms and shares it through their platform.”

How Learning Management will benefit employees:
•  On-the-go learning with mobile devices;
•  Auto-enrollment and assignment based on job responsibilities;
•  Calendar invites;
•  Enhanced communications that help tailor training;
•  Employee self-management of completion reports (access within personal dashboard);
•  Lower nuisances by consolidating multiple trainings under a single sign-on (such as Finance’s purchase card refresher training), and;
•  Much more!

“I’m in the learning phase of all that ADP Learning Management will offer us and look forward to sharing this powerful new tool with everyone,” said Carrie. “Stay tuned for more details and get excited for this new chapter in online learning!”
