WWTP Staff Judge Science Fair

Julius Phillips judging the Science Fair.

Wastewater Treatment Plant employees Crystal Respess and Julius Phillips served as judges at the Winterville Charter Academy's 2nd Annual Science Fair on January 13th.  "I love doing things like this," said Crystal. "These kids come up with the most creative ideas and do a really good job showing how they used the scientific method in their projects."

Kindergarten through 3rd grade classes each did a class project, while grades four through six had the option to do individual projects. "I am really impressed by some of these. The kids did some really cool projects," said Julius.

"Winterville Charter Academy is very grateful to Crystal and Julius for participating as judges in our second annual Science Fair," said Suzanne Jackson, the parent volunteer coordinating the event. "They did a great job, and we truly appreciate their time and talent!"
