On the Horizon - New Workforce Tool at Our Fingertips
A new user-friendly tool that allows employees to access their payroll and benefits information will be available later this year. Since 2013, GUC’s Financial & Human Resources Management System from Oracle, called EBS, has served GUC well - and will continue to do so. However, to provide added value and functionality to employees, EBS and other benefits and payroll tools will move to a background role, while a new system – ADP Workforce Now® - will become the frontline, all-in-one system.
In 2024, a team of employees from across GUC was formed to assist Finance and HR on researching a system that can work in tandem with EBS to offer employees more user-friendly pay and benefits tools. They, along with our Management Team, chose the company ADP.
One System. One Password.
ADP Workforce Now® will bring a handful of different tools and vendors under one umbrella, with one password. All of the various logins and systems we use for tasks such as time entry, pay stub views, performance reviews, and benefits management (including Pierce, Aflac, and other supplemental insurance) will be grouped under the new system. Online learning with LinkedIn as well as recruitment, onboarding, and training with Taleo will be replaced with ADP.
Mobile App – Benefits at Your Fingertips!
The transition to the new ADP system will also bring us our first pay and benefits mobile app, so we can have access to our self-service portal on the go! The ADP mobile app has a 4.7 out of 5-star rating in the Apple App Store and consistently ranks among the top downloaded apps.
How ADP will Benefit Employees and GUC:
- Enhance overall employee experience;
- Online references for self help;
- Streamline HR and payroll processes;
- Give employees and supervisors more control over their pay and benefits tools;
- Continue to make systems cloud-based;
- Lower costs and nuisances by consolidating multiple systems under a single sign-on;
- Improve data accuracy, and;
- Gain efficiencies through standardized workflows under one system.
