Take Safety Home

June 29, 2022

Playing it safe at home is just as important as when you’re at work! Here are some tips for you to keep in mind when you’re working in your yard:

  • When you’re mowing the lawn, wear protective glasses, gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
  • Before you mow, clear area of debris – it can be hurled at over 200 mph at a person or your property.
  • Check your blades before you begin mowing and replace worn blades.
  • Never mow wet, slippery grass.
  • Kids and lawn mowers don’t mix. Be sure to have children and pets in another part of the yard, or inside.

How can you take what you know about safety at work and use it at home?
