Parading Our Holiday Spirit

Parading Our Holiday Spirit

December 12, 2017

We continued our tradition of participating in the Greenville Jaycee's Christmas Parade on December 9th. For the second time in Greenville, it was held at night, so the parade was filled with festive, twinkling lights.

Special thanks to Electric Department employees Mark Howery, Mike Ashley, Casey Jones, Ray Baker, Jason Gaskins, Chad Hines, Matt McLawhorn, and David Bunch for cleaning and decorating the bucket truck and float. They both looked great! Travis Ransom drove the float truck this year, while Remington Gaskins operated a bucket truck for local media to get an overhead view of the parade.

Many employees and family members braved the cold, rainy weather to share their holiday joy on our float this year: Keith, Jennifer, and Joshua Godbey; Colleen, James, and Bridget Sicley; Will, Sara, and Alina Prescott; Juliet, Jeremiah, Joshua, Jordan, and Morgan Telfair; Chad, Kim, and Lucy Flanagan; and Karin and Ty Fullington. Thanks for making us look good!
