Budget Adoption

On June 6th, a public hearing was scheduled for the GUC budget, with no concerns or comments at the hearing. During its June 9th meeting, the GUC Board voted to adopt the proposed Fiscal Year 2016-2017 budget and recommended that the Greenville City Council also adopt the GUC budget.

Load Management Update

The Duke Energy Progress (DEP) monthly peak occurred on May 26, 2016, for the hour ending at 6:00 p.m. GUC's load management system was in full operation during this period. As a result, the estimated avoided demand costs amount to $1,043,662.
