Telehealth Access

Connect 24/7 with a doctor or nurse online via Cigna
March 23, 2020

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we want to remind employees about the Virtual Care options available through Cigna. Follow this link to learn how you and your eligible dependents can access doctors and nurses 24/7 from the comfort of your home. Please note that these services are for employees who are covered under GUC’s health insurance plans.

There are two ways to contact health providers via Cigna Telehealth:

  • Talk to a Nurse (855-673-3063)
If you’re not sure what type of care you need, talking on the phone with a nurse can help you determine the right care plan and is available at no additional cost to you
  • Online Doctor Visits
You can talk directly with a board-certified doctor through the phone, or video, for help with minor, non-life-threatening conditions. When medically necessary, they can have prescriptions sent directly to your local pharmacy.
    • To access online doctor visits through Cigna, download the apps for MDLIVE and/or Amwell. Each family member (employee, spouse, or minor dependents) must create his or her own account. The following information will be needed to register:
      • First and Last Name
      • Gender
      • Date of birth
      • Cigna Customer ID
