Keith Nichols / 25 Years
Meter Technician II Keith Nichols has celebrated 25 years of service with Greenville Utilities. He is part of the team responsible for all maintenance, repair, and in-house testing of water and gas meters. They also perform maintenance on our larger commercial meters and compound water meters, like those at apartment complexes. "Over the years I've enjoyed the changes in technology because of the challenge it brings," said Keith. "I've always liked a good challenge, and it's all been for the best."

Meter Technician II Brandon Vernelson has celebrated 20 years of service with Greenville Utilities. He is part of the team responsible for all maintenance, repair, and in-house testing of water and gas meters. They also perform maintenance on our larger commercial meters and compound water meters (typically installed at facilities like apartment complexes). “My favorite thing about working at GUC would have to be helping our customers figure out problems,” he said. “I really enjoy working with the customers one-on-one.”
