Pictured is the new electronic bill that our E-bill customers are now receiving via email. This makeover came when GUC recently contracted with a new billing vendor. The look and feel of the new e-bill is more user-friendly, highlights the bill amount, and includes links to our website and social media sites, among other upgrades. The printed bills also received a slight makeover.
Periodically, our Billing Section will send out a Request For Proposal (RFP) to vendors who take on the huge task of accumulating, printing, mailing, and electronically storing customer billing information. Sending RFPs every few years for products and services is one way in which GUC stays current with technology while also keeping expenses as low as possible. The new billing vendor, Utilitec,is better able to meet our billing needs both now and when we launch the new customer-facing tools coming out of the OPTICS Navigate project in a few months.
